National Day of Truth & Reconciliation

September 30th is the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.

We are inviting our membership to take action and acknowledge, honour and celebrate our Indigenous members, friends, colleagues and family.

We invite you to purchase your Every Child Matters t-shirt from SYSCO.  In partnership with Indigenous-owned vendor Warrior Supplies, $5 from every shirt sold will go to support Indspire.

Indspire is a nationally registered charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to deliver programs that provide the tools necessary for Indigenous peoples in Canada to achieve their potential.

SYSCO will be matching donations up to $25,000!

In addition to purchasing your t-shirt, we would love to have our membership make and share their favourite Bannock or Fry Bread recipe. In June when we celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day we supplied a recipe for you to use, this time we want you to share YOUR favourite recipe with us.

We would love to have you share your creations on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. Please be sure to use the following tags as you participate, so we can reshare your posts, spreading awareness and creating change together.
