CF News

March 23, 2020

I am reaching out today to offer all of our CF Members, Colleagues and Industry Partners my heartfelt thoughts and prayers as we experience this unprecedented global crisis together. Every person in our culinary community has been, and will continue to be, impacted into the foreseeable future. It is times like these when we are reminded of how important this community is as we truly are all in this together.

As we navigate the days and weeks ahead, please remember to ….

  • Take care of yourself and your loved ones (Talk openly about how you are feeling, eat healthy, exercise, try to stay calm)
  • Take care of the community around you (Connect with neighbours, customers, staff members, friends – share food, fellowship and assistance wherever possible - at a safe distance, of course / Adhere to government and health practitioner recommendations so that we can flatten the curve as quickly as possible)

On behalf of the National Board of Directors, our promise during this difficult time is that we will remain strong, with one voice, in support of our amazing industry now and into the future. We are committed to rebuilding our communities and our industry together.

Please reach out at any time to let us know how we can help.

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay strong.

Respectfully,

Chef Donald Gyurkovits
