You MUST USE Minor's® Fire Roasted Poblano Flavour Concentrate in your recipe! Grab some inspiration from the recipe challenge theme - HAND HELD GLOBAL STREET FOOD!
Fire Roasted Poblano is a perfect combination of fire roasted poblano peppers, onions, garlic, cilantro and lime.
Use your creative talents to produce a recipe that must feature Minor's® Fire Roasted Poblano Flavour Concentrate in two (2) applications:
  • Unheated in a signature condiment (sauce or topping) to demonstrate the Minor's® Ready to Flavour advantage
  • In a hot cooking application (ie. cold signature poblano mayo on power bowl with grains cooked in Minor's® Fire Roasted Poblano Flavour Concentrate broth)
HOW TO ENTER

STEP 1Contact your CF Branch President to claim your Minor's® Fire Roasted Poblano Flavour Concentrate product samples.
STEP 2Once you have received your Ready to Flavour Minor's® sample, it's time to get creative!
Submit your recipe and a picture or video, NO LATER THAN APRIL 12, 2024 to the link HERE.

Further Details / Rules & Regulations
The final recipe must feature Minor's® Fire Roasted Poblano Flavour Concentrate in two (2) applications:
  • Unheated in a signature condiment (sauce or topping) to demonstrate the Minor's® Ready to Flavour advantage;
  • In a hot cooking application (ie. cold signature poblano mayo on power bowl with grains cooked in Minor's® Fire Roasted Poblano Flavour Concentrate broth)
The grand prize winner will be selected by a judging panel of Nestlé Professional chefs and foodservice professionals. Judging will include:
ROUND 1All qualifying entries received during the contest period will be judged based on the following criteria:
  • Creative use of Minor's® Fire Roasted Poblano Flavour Concentrate (50%)
  • Adherence to the theme of Hand Held Global Street Food (40%)
  • Operational Efficiency (10%)

ROUND 2The top five (5) highest scoring entries will be prepared and judged by the same panel of judges based on the following criteria:
  • Flavour (50%)
  • Creative use of Minor's® Products (20%)
  • Adherence to the theme of Hand Held Global Street Food (20%)
  • Operational Efficiency (10%)

The winner will receive a trip to the 2024 Culinary Federation National Conference (May 26-30, 2024), including conference registration, 5 nights accommodation and travel to and from Edmonton, Alberta from the winner's home.
The winning chef's recipe will be featured at the Culinary Federation Supplier Showcase on May 28, 2024.
Winner will be announced on or before April 26, 2024.

The Make it with Minor's® Recipe Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are of the age of majority in their province of residence AND who are active, paid members of the Culinary Federation. Contest begins on 03/01/2024 and ends on 04/26/2024. Nestlé Professional® Canada and Culinary Federation reserve the right to change competition terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
